Training and Safety - RITF Funding |
Resources Industry Training Funding (RITF) is currently available through Mining Industry Skills Centre (MISC) for Qld resource industry companies.
The fund is managed by MISC on behalf of the Qld State Government’s Department of Education, Training & the Arts.
It applies to any nationally accredited training, where a statement of attainment is issued, that assists individuals to gain and further develop the skills they need to work within the resources industry.
This includes but is not limited to: - Competency units from the industry relevant training packages (i.e. MNC04 Coal, MNM05 Metalliferous).
- Accredited traineeships within the resources industry; and
- Competencies from any training package that assist an individual to gain the skills they need to conduct their duties safely and productively on site (e.g. working at heights, confined space)
